The company was established in 1968. During the 1980's, the company established itself as a major supplier of marine and offshore cathodic protection equipment as part of the Wilson Walton network.

 

In 1994 the company was acquired by Corrpro Companies Inc. (Corrpro), and as a result, started to develop its industrial cathodic protection business.

 

As part of the strategy of industrial growth, Corrpro Europe acquired the BASCO Group of companies in 1998. The acquisition has enabled the company to significantly strengthen its industrial engineering and materials operations.
